Kass: Things I Am Hearing
By Doug Kass
8. Fox Business Network is about to announce a broad overhaul after recording poor audience ratings.
>Ummm, would that be the “overhaul” they just did to the schedule? Or is something else in the works?

I have an idea. Give the daytime shows different identities.
Steal some people from CNBC.
But for God’s sake, the network is not even a year old yet. Of course ratings will be low.
What they ought to do is simulcast FBN on FNC when big financial news happens. This would allow them to showcase the product.

Let’s face it, FBN sucks. Even with all the power of NewsCorp, FBN has fumbled even the task of getting its name out. CNBC will take years to take down and trying to steal some there talent might make it fall faster. Then again, Wall Street for Main Street was a gimmick that utterly failed. If FBN really wanted WS for MS, then they wouldn’t have hired Wall St. better-than-you people to run their channel.
