Greg Kelly, Christina Park..

Finding happy news in local news
BY RICHARD HUFF
Greg Kelly was a good fit on WNYW/Ch. 5’s “Good Day New York” this week. Kelly is the son of the NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly and is a Fox News staffer. And at the start of this week, he was in the seat left vacant when Ron Corning was cut.
During his run, Kelly bounced between serious and not-so-serious news. He admitted at one point he’d seen the “Sex and the City” movie, but added that he couldn’t tell the difference between Manolos and Keds.
That’s good, no?
Later in the week, Kelly took part in a segment on Father’s Day gifts.
“I used to cover the White House,” he said on the air. “Now I’m modeling flip-flops.”
Now that he’s come to terms with that drastic career shift, he should be given the job full-time.
Ch. 5’s Christina Park, as always, had just the right thing to say. After a series of segments built around Anne Craig’s wedding preparations, Park said to Craig: “Thanks for participating in our bridal booty camp - and your booty looks beautiful.”

Thanks to the freaks at RC who were relentless in bombarding FNC with complaints about him (particularly his apparent unwillingness to bow and scrape before Princess Ainsley), this may just come to be.
It will actually be funny if this comes to be, considering certain female obsessives at RC who’ve enabled and vigorously defended their sicko male counterparts, and may no longer be able to see their fantasy object on TV anymore. So girls, when you whine and cry over Greg being booted from national to local TV (as happened with Dari Alexander and Rick Folbaum, among others), just remember to direct those plaintive wails to the boys on the Ainsley and Courtney threads.

What is RC??

Reporter Caps, the home of (involuntary) celibates who incessantly post screen caps of newscasters and post graphic fantasies, all while hoping for the Ultimate Upskirt caps. http://reportercaps.proboards99.com
They went on a jihad to get Page Hopkins dumped in favor of Ainsley, and Greg Kelly was part of the collateral damage in that campaign. Literally. They’re mostly shut-ins who email (and probably phone and snailmail) FNC many times a day, creating an illusion of a massive movement for Ainsley and against Page (and Greg).

Color me uninformed and clueless. But I just went to the reportercaps website. Clicked on “Let’s Talk about Greg”. What a pointless zoo.
I can’t believe people live in that world. Incredible.
But the pictures of Greg are disheartening. Why would he be a party to this? They made him into a clown.

Cella, check out the Courtney and Ainsley threads, if you want to see truly astoundingly disturbed.
Why did Greg stoop to that shtick? What else is he going to do? Apparently, what appeared to be a groundswell of negative viewer feedback (the RC loons) may well have helped push him out with the same tide that eliminated Page.
It would serve certain Greg Kelly freaks right if he got bumped down to the NYC local channel. They ardently defend and enable the weirdos on the Courtney and Ainsley threads, and this is the result of their hard work.

Cella, I went there to check it out after reading your comments. Poor guy. But I guess that’s why he had his hat basically covering his face!
He should be back on FNC covering action over in Iraq or Afghanistan, as he alluded to (in some quote I saw somewhere).

Greg should be on FNC, not the local NY station. This is such a waste.

Good Day NY is a pretty good gig.

Good Day NY is barely watchable, at its best. Besides, a local market is not as prestigious as the national.
Of course he belongs on FNC, but try to fight the tidal wave of anti-Greg missives that they received, all in an effort to prop up Courtney (illiterate and immature) and Ainsley (listening to her is like sticking my head in a bucket of cheap syrup and leaving it there).
