When is it going to end? I actually saw Clayton (F&F) put on a tin foil hat this morning. Okay, okay. I know they were talking about the “little green man” from outer space. But I still think a sense of decorum is needed for cable news anchors.
I don’t know what else they did because I quickly grabbed the remote.
My best idea for this show is that they give Rick Reichmuth a seat on the couch.

While toasting my morning bagel and making a pot o’ coffee… I turned on FNC (just because there were no good cartoons on). It was just in time for Cavuto’s program… and they started talking about energy and gas prices and blah-blah-blah.
And then as part of the roundtable, was Dagen… and I had to shut the television off. DOES ANYONE THINK THIS WOMAN IS GOOD?! She’s got a GINORMOUS head, even larger hair, and looks like a horse… and she gives her analysis like she’s in a community-theater production of “A Streetcar Named Desire”!
I have no idea if this woman knows her stuff or not, because the moment she started to shout, my ears started to bleed, and I think I could feel my brain trying to escape.
Please tell me… am I all alone on this, or she just awful?

INB,
You have made me curious! I will have to watch her now.
Comment by Cella — May 31, 2008 @ 12:27 pm
Blue & Cella: Dagen has been on FNC (and now FBN) for 6-7 years. I’m surprised you guys have never seen her before.
FNC cut the first segment of “Bulls and Bears” for the opening of the Dem rules committee meeting, actually it was only Howard Dean giving a propaganda speech. Then Fox returned to the business block while MSNBC and CNN carried the Dems.

HA!
ImNotBlue, I like Dagen’s southern drawl! But, then again, I only watch her when she has a co-host on FBN.. The only woman at FNC/FBN that strongly resembles a horse to me is Brigitte Quinn. With that said, certainly Dagen doesn’t have the best looking face by any means.

Looks like FNC is out of whack on the SD feed again. Everything is stretched and I can only see IVE in the top left corner.. mind you thats half an I! (As in LIVE)

FNC needs some tweeking…..the screen is on S T R E T C H, and boy does Kelly’s head look big! :)

Hey, ttc,
I was just kidding. I have seen Dagen. But I haven’t actually watched her in a while. I will make a point of watching her more closely now.
And jerziegrl, it’s Kelly with that awful black “cap” on his head again.
I just don’t understand the makeup department.
But I wouldn’t watch this show anyhow. These are not my favorite hosts.
I was glad to see Trace back in the anchor’s seat.

Yes, I’ve seen her before… and was never a fan… but this morning I thought I’d give her another try.
Mistake INB.

Cella, if you don’t watch any of it, then it ends (for you).
Tweaking the show by adding Rick isn’t going to make any real difference. It’s sort of like the old cliche about rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
As far as I’m concerned, they can either blow up the show (clean out everyone and recast/restaff the 3 co-hosts, newsreader and weather person) or just use it as a receptacle for the worst of the worst. Right now for example, I am glad that Courtney is there, because it means that she’s being occupied on a show that I don’t watch and therefore less likely to pollute the ones that I do watch.
Honestly, I don’t watch for even 1 second - I just check the website on Friday and if it’s the same crew of creeps, I don’t bother even trying. We just leave the tv on NBC and watch “Today” - and then pretty much leave it on NBC for much of the weekend, as little as we do watch the box on weekends.

FreddieFF,
A wonderful show is the CBS show at eight A.M. (central) on Sunday.
Oh, and by the way, Courtney is on Happening Now, about once an hour.
Jon Scott looks on, seemingly in disgust. He is better at disguising it now than he was when she first came on to do her gossip sessions.
She is pathetic.

I don’t know the ratings of Mike and Juliet’s weekday morning show. Is it possible that it might be heading for cancellation and the current F&FW crew is just there until they return?

I think I read recently that M&J had been renewed. But that would be a great thing to happen. The grown ups back in charge.

It is a sad day for F&FW when Mike and Juliet are considered the grown ups.

Did FNC shelve the pork special last night at 8pm? Because I flew by there about 8:30pm and saw a banner with something like, “Hannity on the phone” discussing Obama leaving the church. With that said, this could’ve been a bottom of the hour news update..
Comment by Terance — June 1, 2008 @ 12:56 pm
Terance: The “pork” special aired in the 10pm ET hour.
