CNN anchor to speak at MTSU
The MTSU Seigenthaler Chair of Excellence in First Amendment Studies is the co-sponsor of an April 15 event featuring CNN’s Fredericka Whitfield.
“Under Represented, Over Exposed: People of Color in the Media” will be held in the Keathley University Center Theater. The event is free and open to the public.
MTSU professor Jennifer Woodard will speak at 9:40 a.m. on deconstructing African-American women in the media. Whitfield will speak at 4 p.m.
